Comics for people with lived or living experience with street drugs

Time: Saturday, November 9th, 12pm to 2pm
Location: Truro Public Library, 754 Prince Street
Room: Ina M. Patterson Study (ask a librarian for directions)
Honorarium: $30 each to a Maximum of 10 participants, first come first serve

No skills necessary. All materials supplied. Some simple drawing and writing activities, discussion and, above all, encouragement to continue your story. There is no such thing as a bad drawing, and we all have a story to tell. Let’s find out what yours is. The starting point is memoir, but a good story is a good story, and fiction can be more truthful than fact in so many ways. So hopefully, that sounds easy and fun, plus a little confusing and mysterious. And I hope to see you there! I can’t wait to hear your ideas!
